WHAT IS MITHRALITE?
- Mithralite is a special coating for reflectors that is used in this reflector.
- The coating was specially developed for high-pressure sodium lamps.
- Approximately 20% increased luminous efficacy (LOR) when operated with high-pressure sodium lamps compared to conventional anodized aluminum.
- With a reflector with Mithralite coating, the luminous efficacy remains at its peak for a very long time, since the surface coating is not damaged by the operation of a high-pressure sodium vapor lamp, as is the case with conventional reflectors, which reduces the luminous efficacy by at least 20 to 30%.
- Particularly high reflection of light in the spectral range above 600 nm, which plays a crucial role especially during flowering and fruit development.
- Extremely durable coating, is not susceptible to corrosion and can withstand high temperatures.
