This digital ballast features a small and compact design, operates silently without loud fans, and weighs a manageable 2.5 kg. The Lumatek 400W is dimmable and produces consistently stable light output, making it ideal for pharmaceutical agriculture, controlled plant cultivation, and similar applications requiring precisely regulated output.

Lumatek ballasts are microprocessor-controlled and feature intelligent start-up with sequential switching for faster lamp start-up (with safe inrush current control and balanced load to prevent short circuits). When dimming or boosting, the ballast uses the "soft dim" function to slowly change the output power to protect the lamp.

The Lumatek 400W digital ballast is extremely efficient, generates little heat, and offers complete protection against short circuits including open/short circuits, overtemperature, over/low voltage, and EMC suppression.

Lumatek uses only the highest quality electronic components and the design ensures longer lamp life with minimal PAR/PPF output loss (significantly less over time than traditional magnetic ballasts).

Four power output levels at 250W, 250SL, 400W, and 400SL. Increase power by 10% by selecting the SL settings. Lumatek ballasts operate both HPS and MH lamps. Please note that the Super Lumens (SL) switch cannot be activated for MH lamps.
