The efficient Air-Pot® plant pots have inward-facing, closed cones and outward-facing, open cones on the walls. This eliminates the flat surfaces and prevents the growth of rings like those found in conventional plant pots.
When root tips grow outward through the open cones, they die upon contact with air - a denser root ball is formed with a higher number of active, white root tips.
The porosity of the AirPots also ensures increased bacterial activity and increases the availability of nutrients, which can be absorbed even more effectively by the large number of roots. The result: vital, strong, and healthy plants.
