Janecomix is an ideal base substrate in which almost any plant can be grown. The lightly fertilized soil has the advantage that even the more difficult varieties cannot be over-fertilized quickly. In addition to a light dosage of fertilizer, Janecomix also contains perlite to ensure the substrate remains sufficiently aerated while maintaining optimal water balance. When growing in Janecomix soil, you may not need to add any nutrients for the first 3-4 weeks. The soil mix contains enough fertilizer for the first three weeks, depending on the number of plants and pot size. After this time, Atami recommends supplementing the plant with liquid fertilizer for optimal results.
