S-SPIKES are end-of-line drippers that spray the nutrient solution in a radius around the dripper. The spray radius, and thus the flow rate, are adjustable. This is particularly advantageous when irrigating plants of different sizes with one system. Especially when growing from seed or in soil, this solves the problem that a conventional drip system delivers the same amount of water to all plants, even though the plants develop at different rates.
