Osram's Plantastar discharge lamp has a power output of 250 W and a mains voltage of 220-240 V. The CE-standardized HPS/NDL lamp operates at a mains frequency of 50 Hz and with an operating current of 2.95 A. The Plantastar 250W consists of a clear T46 bulb and an E40 socket and impresses with its long service life of over 32,000 hours.

The Osram Plantastar 250W boasts a high PAR value of 420 µmol/s and a luminance of 730 cd/m². Thanks to its outstanding luminous intensity of 33,000 lm, this discharge lamp boasts a light efficiency of 133 lm/W. With its color temperature of 2,000 K, warm white light color, and yellow-red color spectrum, this high-pressure sodium lamp from Osram particularly promotes flowering in plants, but also supports growth with its increased blue content.
