The RAM Activated Carbon Filter Series is a range of professional filters specifically designed for growers. They are easy to use and offer good value for money. The filter contains a new Australian RC412 carbon, widely considered one of the best carbons for air filtration.
It has a very low ash content (less than 13%) and is an untreated, granulated product that can be highly compacted. This leaves no air spaces through which organic compounds (or odors) can escape.
The RAM Pro activated carbon filters have a carbon pore size of 0.02 microns, which allows them to absorb volatile organic odors much more effectively.
During filling, inline drying and dehumidification ensure that the carbon is in peak condition before the filter is compacted. A special expansion foam on the filter nozzle ensures that the carbon's compaction rate remains high at all times.
