Efficiency is not just a number on a data sheet...
Naturally, SANlight offers advanced efficiency of more than 3µmol/J at the module level with the EVO series. However, much more attention was paid to yield per area and time during development. The spectrum was optimized as best as possible in countless empirical tests with various plants. The resulting broadband light spectrum extends beyond the conventional PAR range and offers a Far Red to Red ratio that positively influences photomorphogenesis and thus also the quality and quantity of the harvest.
Protection and light control...
During the development of the EVO series, the protective and light-directing secondary optics were optimized to the geometric dimensions of the luminaire. This results in incredibly homogeneous illumination with optimal light intensity (PPFD). The asymmetrically radiating secondary optics also minimize losses during photon transport to the plants and simultaneously protect the LEDs from environmental influences to which the luminaire is exposed during plant cultivation. Sulfur and other chemical substances cannot penetrate the LED, thus preventing oxidation of the LED chip reflector. The optics are easy to clean. This protection and the ability to clean guarantee consistent light output for many years.
Finest technology...
From a virtually endless selection of LEDs available on the market, SANlight has selected only the best. For red and far-red LEDs, they have chosen, as they have done for years, the latest OSRAM high-power LEDs. For white LEDs, they feature Seoul Semiconductor's patented WICOP technology. LEDs with this technology are characterized by the absence of lead frames and silver, resulting in exceptional robustness and maximum efficiency.
Ready-to-dim...
Every model in the EVO series is "ready-to-dim." This means the luminaire is compatible with typical greenhouse control systems. Alternatively, the luminaire can be retrofitted with a magnetic dimmer or Bluetooth dimmer. Unlike rotary potentiometers, SANlight solutions are wear-free and unaffected by humidity and water.

In the EVO series, all connections are made with high-quality waterproof connectors, which have become established in commercial horticulture over the past decades. All accessories offered by SANlight are designed for harsh greenhouse environments. This allows the system to be easily and safely configured, dimmed, or connected in a "daisy chain" according to your own preferences.
Maximization
Even though the lights appear somewhat taller at first glance, in practical use, considerable height can be saved. In most grow rooms, filters and ventilation systems are mounted on the ceiling. With the EVO series, the necessary equipment can be positioned between the lights, without losing a single centimeter of usable height. Lighting systems from other manufacturers, due to their design, must be mounted below the ventilation system. This results in significantly more wasted space. This applies to both small grow tents and large, professional installations.
