VitaLink PlantStart is a unique, complete, one-part fertilizer that gives your plants the best possible start. This balanced formulation of essential macronutrients and chelated micronutrients, especially the perfect ratio of boron to calcium, is proven to promote rapid root development and vigorous early growth. The addition of fulvic and humic acids supports nutrient uptake from the moment roots emerge. Vitamin B1 stimulates root growth in seedlings and cuttings. Better roots mean better nutrient and water uptake, leading to more vigorous growth and increased resistance to environmental stress.

VitaLink PlantStart is suitable for all types of media. It reduces the risk of damage from over-fertilization by providing a low-EC solution while still providing your plants with all the nutrients they need.

Instructions for use:

Sowing seeds/rooting cuttings

- Use 3-4 ml/L when soaking propagation sponges/plugs before sowing or taking cuttings. For delicate and valuable cuttings, we recommend using a high-quality rooting gel to further guarantee success.

For rooted seedlings and cuttings

- Use 6-8 ml/L once your cuttings/seedlings have successfully rooted in propagation sponges/plugs. Once you notice the plants in the cuttings/sponges establishing multiple roots, we recommend adding VitaLink RootStim to your fertilization program. Always shake the bottle for 20 seconds before use, as the humic acid will settle naturally over time.

A breeder’s tip:

Many growers still give cuttings and seedlings a weak dose of growth fertilizer. Please don't do this, because cuttings and seedlings not only need a weaker nutrient supply, but also the right balance of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.
